Happy Bunny Couple

So the buns are bonded. It's very cute: Smudge runs all over, checking everything out, and Buttons follows her around. They are almost always together.

Here is a pic during bonding where Buttons is keeping an eye on Smudge. (He could go around the fence, but has chosen not to.)

After Richard was injured separating them, and then Smudge escaped her pen, they had a really good bonding session the next day. They progressed from the backyard to the bedroom to the living room. The day after that I let them spend the whole day together and they were fine. So we left them together for the weekend we were in Chicago.

In this first video, Buttons runs up to check out Smudge, who's eating, and then decides against it and runs off. In the second video, they are enjoying greens together. For some reason, it's really fun to watch bunnies eat, especially from floor-level.
