Reception Favors

For our favors, we were originally thinking of having grown-up favors and kid favors. Then we decided that the kid favors were way more fun, and the adults would probably steal them. So in the end we had a bunch of three different favors. The spinners (from various Targets around the country) were probably the biggest hit.

I think one of my all-time favorite pics is this one, courtesy of Richard's friend Sandi. They *almost* got 6 spinning on top of each other. Richard still claims he will post a video from groomsman Mike showing what their table was doing with the spinners.

The other favor was silly putty, made largely by ring bearer Toby the day before in my lab. You can find the recipie here. It's pretty easy.

And the final favor was the best chocolate ever.

Do they have a scotchmallow variety of "the best chocolate ever?"

Isn't it silly puTTy rather than puDDy? The latter sounds like a variation of pudding.

N: yeah, yeah, so what's your point?

judith: i don't think scharffen berger makes scotchmallows. But they are having a recipie contest where you use their chocolate and some strange ingredient like rosemary or chili powder.
