What hormone-laden pregnant woman hears: "You have always looked this fat!"
2. There are a lot of pregnancy signs and symptoms besides fatigue and morning sickness. There are even some really random ones, like eczema and snoring.
3. You can hike 14 miles in a couple days with some 2000 ft of elevation change while 6 months pregnant, but you will be much more comfortable if you don't. If you do it anyway, make sure you have someone to carry all your supplies plus understanding hiking buddies who will constantly wait for you or walk really slowly behind you.
And now for some random pictures.
The gang from our camping trip this weekend, wherein you can see how pregnant I do or do not look. We had a great time, even though we missed the peak of leaf colors.
A snake we saw on the trail. He was something like 3 feet long. You can tell in this picture that he is not poisonous. Mike wanted to pick him up, but the snake escaped during the conversation about whether it was best to pick him up by the tail or right behind the head.
This is one relaxed bunny. Smudge gets comfy in front of the fireplace:
They haven't survived the recent frosts, but we had a bunch of these in front of our house:
